Last minute changes

The next meeting with the supervisor is coming up. You are responsible for handing in the group’s work on the due date.

As you will be individually graded, your supervisor wants to keep track of who is doing what. He demands that every group member should be the author of at least one whole section.

Every individual needs also to sign off the entire project, before it is sent to the supervisor.

The last evening before the deadline, when you as coordinator integrate all parts from the group members, you discover that the section written by your friend Kim is based on a complete misunderstanding. Apparently, he never learned how to do literature search and for that reason his work has run off-track.

There are only a few hours left, and Kim does not answer his phone.

You know that you can rewrite the section, which will improve the overall impression of the project a lot.

What do you do?
